Heidy emigrated to the U.S. from Cali, Colombia in 1990 and is the CEO of UniAmerica Insurance in Los Angeles, CA. With over 30 years of experience in insurance and financial services, she is known for her integrity, trust, and commitment to community — from her church to sponsoring youth soccer in Wilmington and supporting entrepreneurship within her family overseas. Her real estate journey began in Colombia with her first investment, later expanding into long-term rental investing in the U.S. Her background in risk management and financial strategy ensures every transaction is thoughtful, transparent, and grounded in sound judgment.

Michelle, daughter of co-founder Heidy, is a California native, UC Berkeley alumna, and Neuropsychology Research Assistant by day who brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to real estate shaped by her background in behavioral health and clinical research. She is known for navigating complex situations with clarity and intuition, aligning people, strategy, and opportunity to create seamless outcomes. Inspired by her mother’s work and training through WREIN, Michelle co-founded HM Tierra Investments with a vision rooted in family, wellness, and community.
